Every Niessing tension ring is individually crafted to order at the Niessing manufactory in Vreden, Germany. Development, production, and quality control are all carried out entirely in-house.

Niessing tension rings are crafted in Platinum 950 and Gold 750. Depending on the model, Gold 750 versions are available in the distinctive Niessing Colors, including Ivory, Spring Green, Classic Yellow, Warm Yellow, Fine Rose, Classic Red, Rosewood, Sand Gray, Fine Gray, as well as Supla Grenadine. WHAT DIAMOND QUALITIES ARE USED?
Niessing typically uses diamonds in G-VS2 or F-VS1 quality grades. Each diamond is carefully selected and inspected to ensure exceptional brilliance and visual purity. Depending on the design, Niessing also offers distinctive diamond cuts such as Princess Cut, Trilliant Cut, and Baguette Cut. Niessing exclusively uses natural diamonds.
ARE THE DIAMONDS CERTIFIED?
Yes. Diamonds weighing 0.30 carats or more are accompanied by an internationally recognized certificate, such as a GIA certificate.
ARE NATURAL OR LABORATORY-GROWN DIAMONDS USED?
Niessing exclusively uses natural diamonds.
WHICH DIAMOND CUTS ARE AVAILABLE?
Depending on the model, classic round brilliant diamonds as well as specialty cuts are available, including Princess Cut and Trilliant Cut in the Bauhaus Tension Ring and Baguette Cut in the Bamboo tension ring.
HOW IS THE DIAMOND TECHNICALLY SECURED IN THE RING?
The diamond is held in place by precisely calculated tension forces within the ring shank. Every ring is individually manufactured for its specific diamond and thoroughly tested before delivery.

HOW DO I PROPERLY CARE FOR MY TENSION RING?
Warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth or brush are generally sufficient for routine cleaning. Regular care helps preserve the ring's original beauty and brilliance.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD A TENSION RING BE INSPECTED?
For rings worn daily, Niessing recommends an annual inspection. During this process, the ring shank, tension, and secure positioning of the diamond are carefully examined.
CAN THE RING BE REFINISHED DURING INSPECTION?
Yes. As part of the inspection process, the ring can be professionally refreshed. Surfaces are cleaned and refinished as needed to restore the ring's original appearance.
CAN THE RING SIZE BE ADJUSTED LATER?
Because the tension force and diamond fit are precisely engineered, any size adjustment must be performed exclusively by Niessing. A customized quotation can be provided upon request by an authorized partner.
WHICH WARRANTY IS PROVIDED?
Niessing offers an international two-year warranty from the date of purchase. Modifications or repairs performed by unauthorized third parties may affect warranty and service eligibility.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO MANUFACTURE A TENSION RING?
Production typically takes approximately three to four weeks. Each tension ring is custom-made and precisely adapted to its selected diamond.
HOW ARE AUTHENTICITY AND ORIGIN DOCUMENTED?
Original Niessing tension rings bear the distinctive Heart and Arrow hallmark as well as a unique identification number. In addition, all relevant information—including tension, ring size, and the diamond’s cut and quality—is documented. Diamonds of 0.30 carats and above also receive an internationally recognized certificate, such as a GIA certificate.

Niessing is a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) and is committed to high social, ethical, and environmental standards. Precious metals are sourced and processed responsibly, and every piece of jewelry is manufactured in Vreden, Germany.
