WHICH MATERIALS AND COLORS ARE AVAILABLE? 

We offer wedding rings in 15 Niessing Colors, a variety of surface textures, and—depending on the model—in 18k gold (750), Platinum 950, and Palladium 950. The exact selection depends on the collection and configuration. 

HOW CUSTOMIZABLE ARE WEDDING RINGS? 

Depending on the model, you can choose colors, textures, personalized engravings, as well as the type and number of diamonds. We also offer Love Story rings with predefined designs, along with opportunities for personalized consultations. 

HOW DO WE DETERMINE OUR RING SIZES? 

You can use our ring size finder or have your ring sizes measured at a Niessing store or authorized retail partner. 

CAN WEDDING RINGS BE RESIZED AFTER PURCHASE? 

We offer complimentary resizing for rings up to four weeks after the purchase date, with the exception of pavé-set rings. Rings that have been worn for a longer period can also be resized at fair service rates. 

HOW DO WE FIND THE RIGHT WEDDING RINGS? 

Choosing wedding rings is a highly personal decision. Shape, width, color, textures, and overall comfort should reflect your shared style and everyday life. A personal consultation allows you to try on different designs and combinations to find the perfect match. 

DO WEDDING RINGS HAVE TO BE IDENTICAL? 

No. Many couples intentionally choose different rings that still complement each other beautifully. Variations in width, texture, or diamond settings can highlight individual personalities while maintaining a cohesive design language. 

WHICH RING WIDTH IS RIGHT FOR US? 

The ideal ring width depends on hand shape, personal style, and desired comfort. Narrow rings tend to appear delicate and understated, while wider designs often make a bolder and more expressive statement. 

WHICH ENGRAVING OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE? 

Depending on the model, classic name or date engravings as well as personal messages are possible. We are happy to discuss available engraving options with you individually. 

CAN AN ENGAGEMENT RING AND WEDDING RING BE WORN TOGETHER? 

Yes. Many Niessing wedding rings are designed to pair harmoniously with engagement rings. We recommend trying both rings on together to ensure the perfect fit. 

WHEN SHOULD WE ORDER OUR WEDDING RINGS? 

Since custom-made wedding rings generally require two to three weeks for production and delivery, we recommend making your selection several weeks before the wedding. Special configurations or engravings may require additional time. 

2. MATERIALS & DIAMONDS 

HOW RESPONSIBLY SOURCED ARE THE MATERIALS AND DIAMONDS? 

We use recycled gold from the secondary materials cycle and source precious metals through certified German and Swiss refineries. For diamonds, we adhere to the Kimberley Process System of Warranties and conduct additional verification in our own diamond laboratory.

WHAT MAKES NIESSING WEDDING RINGS SPECIAL? 

Since 1873, Niessing has combined master goldsmithing, innovation, and contemporary design within its own manufacturing facility in Germany. ARE THE WEDDING RINGS MADE IN GERMANY? 

Yes. All wedding rings are crafted in the Niessing manufactory in Vreden, Germany—from melting the precious metals to the finished ring. 

WHAT ARE NIESSING COLORS? 

Niessing offers 14 own gold shades known as Niessing Colors. These range from warm rose and red hues to bright, contemporary tones, allowing for highly personalized combinations.

Yes. Diamond-set wedding rings are designed for daily wear. Regular care and occasional professional inspections help preserve the beauty and security of the stones over time. 

3. CARE, RESIZING & SERVICE 

HOW SHOULD WE CARE FOR OUR WEDDING RINGS IN EVERYDAY LIFE? 

We recommend cleaning your rings with warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth or small brush. Diamond-set rings should be inspected regularly and professionally refreshed when needed. 

WHAT WARRANTY IS PROVIDED? 

We offer an international two-year warranty from the date of purchase. Service work performed by unauthorized third parties may affect warranty coverage and future service eligibility. 

HOW OFTEN SHOULD WEDDING RINGS BE PROFESSIONALLY INSPECTED? 

For rings worn regularly, we recommend a professional inspection every one to two years. During these inspections, surfaces, settings, and diamonds can be checked and restored if necessary. 

CAN RING FINISHES BE REFINISHED LATER? 

Yes. Depending on the model, surfaces can be refreshed or refinished to maintain the ring’s original appearance and character. 

WHAT HAPPENS IF OUR RING SIZE CHANGES IN THE FUTURE? 

Many designs can be resized later on. Thanks to the seamless wedding ring developed by Niessing, size adjustments are particularly feasible for many models. The extent of possible modifications depends on the specific ring design and any diamond settings involved.

Yes. Niessing wedding rings are designed for daily wear and combine exceptional craftsmanship with durable materials. 

4. ORDERING, DELIVERY & CONSULTATION 

HOW DO SHIPPING, RETURNS, AND CONSULTATIONS WORK? 

Custom-made jewelry typically requires two to three weeks for production and delivery. For online purchases, a 14-day right of withdrawal generally applies; however, custom-made, personalized, or engraved rings are excluded. Personal consultation appointments can be arranged in advance at a Niessing store or with an authorized retail partner. 

IS INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AVAILABLE, AND CAN SERVICE BE PROVIDED ABROAD? 

Yes. International shipping is available. Orders through the online store can be delivered within Europe. For destinations outside Europe, please contact the Niessing Concierge.
